Julia Ismambetova, from Almaty, Kazakhstan, graduated in Fine Arts from Almaty State University in 1995.
Post - graduation, she taught at ASU's Arts and Crafts department from 1996 - 1998. Then, she fully dedicated herself to her art.
Since 1998, she's had numerous exhibitions. Her work was shown in Kazakhstan, at Christie's in London, and in New York.
